The information provided on this page is based on official sources published by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Please note that our office is not part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We are a private, independent firm specializing in locating official documents, issuing certificates, and obtaining apostilles worldwide.
With extensive experience, professional networks across government authorities in Israel and abroad, and a deep understanding of international document requirements, our office provides fast, reliable, and fully coordinated support for clients who need notarization or document authentication abroad.
Consular notarization services are available to Israeli citizens and foreign nationals who need to authenticate signatures, declarations, copies, medical opinions, expert opinions, and public documents at Israeli missions worldwide.
If your consular notarization requires international validation, you may also need apostille authentication for Israeli documents
Who Can Receive Consular Notarization Services?
You are eligible for consular notarization if you are an Israeli citizen or a foreign citizen who needs a notarized signature on a document intended for use in Israel.

Overview of Notary Services at Israeli Missions
Notarization must be completed in person before a diplomatic or consular representative.
Representatives may refuse service if legal requirements are not met.
Missions cannot prepare wills, marital property agreements, or draft legal documents.
Notarization will not be provided if the applicant is not acting voluntarily, if the document is illegal, false, incomplete, or violates local law.
Signature Authentication Requirements
Applicants must present identification and the original document requiring authentication.
For minors under 18, a guardian’s signature or court authorization is required.
For real-estate documents, only an ID card or passport is needed.
If the representative is unfamiliar with the document, a translation and translator’s declaration must be attached, confirming fluency in both languages and accuracy.
The translator’s declaration may be authenticated by:
A diplomatic representative, a local notary with apostille, or an attorney in Israel.
For Israeli companies: certificate of incorporation (certified) and updated signing-authority authorization.
For foreign companies: certificate of incorporation with apostille and updated signing-authority authorization.
In non-Apostille countries, documents must be authenticated as foreign public documents.
In addition to consular notarization, our office specializes in retrieving official Israeli documents and obtaining authentication when required
Authentication of Copies
Applicants must bring ID and the original document.
The mission will create a copy themselves and authenticate it only after verifying it matches the original.
Authentication of a Declaration
Applicants must appear in person with ID and the declaration to be authenticated.
If the representative does not understand the language, a translation and notarized translator’s declaration are required.

Experts must appear with ID, professional certification and license number, proof of address, proof of workplace, and the expert opinion.
An expert opinion becomes valid only after authentication by an Israeli consular representative.
